Once you enter the gates, the breathtaking views of the Saint-Maurice River will delight you. Whether you want to venture into the underground vaults, relax on the terrace or feel the wind in your face on the observation tower, you'll always find something at BORÉALIS that will attract you, amaze you, make you wonder and move you.

Presented inside the historic walls of the CIP water filtration plant, our exhibitions Roots and Identity and Travel to the End of the World, are in their own way multi-sensory experiences where human beings are the central theme. Together, they offer a glimpse into the past and open up on prospects of the future and on contemplation. Our programming includes guided tours and interactive activities that are designed for audiences of all ages, with special attention given to families. Editing a newspaper, papermaking, theatrical visits; these are some of the adventures that await you at BORÉALIS.
