Valérie Bourgeois

Boréalis Director

Having obtained a master's degree in history in 2002, and with over fifteen years experience in the tourism industry, Valerie Bourgeois is at the helm of the BORÉALIS paper industry history centre. Her energy, vision and dedication to history make her a true team leader. An outgoing person who has boundless energy, she is motivated to put her ambition and strengths together to make BORÉALIS an exceptional tourist attraction! On a personal note, she lives life to its fullest, and enjoys reading, eating, all types of activities, and above all, she loves her little family!

David Côté

Operations Technician

During the past year, David Côté trained in sound and recording. His role as operations technician at Boréalis is to ensure that the equipment and various components of the history centre run smoothly. He is the person to contact regarding all technical equipment. Fascinated by words and music, he was destined to work in arts and culture!

Lisa Dugré

Education and Animation Director

Elise-Laurence Pauzé-Guay is the Education and Animation Director, and is presently on maternity leave until August 2011. Lisa Dugré has taken over her responsibilities until her return. All contact information will remain the same.

Elise-Laurence Pauzé Guay holds a certificate in Animation and Cultural Research from UQAM and a BA in Leisure, Culture and Tourism from UQTR: She has animation in her blood! Passionate about artistic innovation and people, she takes great pleasure in developing cultural and educational programs for children and adults, in addition to leading a team of outstanding tour guides! She also puts a lot of passion and enthusiasm into creating magnificent exhibitions. A young mother of a little girl, we bet she won’t be bored in the coming years!

Marie-Michelle Barette

Communications Director

Marie-Michelle Barette has a BA in Social Communication, and is currently undertaking a master's in the same field of expertise. She is in charge of developing marketing and communication strategies at BORÉALIS. She has the challenging task of creating the centre's promotional tools and being responsible for media relations. Her biggest wish: that BORÉALIS innovates in everything it does! Passionate about design, fashion, and all things 'contemporary', she is constantly on the lookout for new trends!

Marie-Pier Côté

Hospitality and Service Director

With over 7 years of experience in the tourism industry, she is the person who handles all group reservations and establishes the pricing policies at BORÉALIS. In charge of the administration of the terrace and reception office, she has an incredible sense for coordinating events and her sound logistics are a saving grace in many situations! This proud supporter of the Montreal Canadiens loves her family and is about to give birth to a beautiful baby!
