We think ‘Green’ because we have an impact...
At Boréalis, we have decided to adopt daily habits to reduce our environmental footprint and to demonstrate our commitment to a better quality of life!
These small gestures of everyday life have allowed the organization to commit itself both environmentally and socially, without affecting the centre's budget!
- - We recycle all the paper we use, either to take notes or to print on the back.
- - We print only when necessary.
- - We recycle our ink cartridges and our computer equipment.
- - We encourage the exchange of emails without printing!
- - All employees use electronic calendars instead of paper calendars.
- - All of our communication tools are made from recycled paper.
- - Each department has a recycling bin.
- - Dishes used by employees and customers are sustainable...more dishes, but much better for the planet!
- - Our cleaning products are environmentally friendly.
- - All flowing water (flushing and sinks) are monitored so as to avoid waste. Each sink is equipped with an eye that prevents long flows.
- - We use recycled materials in most of the hardware components for our youth activities.
We also believe in teaching practices that respect the environment!
To prove our genuine commitment and our desire for a greener world, each year a temporary exhibit will address a concept related to ecology in an original way.
In addition, you will find tools and facts in our program of family and youth activities that will help you make ours a GREENER world!
