Born in 2010 from the desire to remember the epic story of Trois-Rivières’ pulp and paper industry (1899 to 2000), Boréalis offers exhibitions and activities that explore themes tied to the industry and the forest—past and present. It brings to light the authentic and moving stories of the heroes behind this chapter of history—people who shaped generations and transformed both the urban and forest landscapes. As a cultural space, Boréalis also presents a rich and accessible program of cultural events.
