Histoire sur l’eau – Immersive Cruise

Histoire sur l’eau – Immersive Cruise

Boréalis invites you to set sail! While navigating where, in the past, thousands of logs were piled up, discover a natural and human environment rich in memories and emotions.

Come aboard our electric boats to discover the history of the Saint-Maurice River in a different way. As the Saint-Maurice River flows, let it tell you about the changes it has undergone, the stories of the men and women who crossed its path, and the significant events it has witnessed.

Let’s board!

An Immersive Cruise

Histoire sur l’eau is an encounter with the Saint-Maurice River telling its own story and talking about the changes it has undergone over time. Unlike “classic” cruises, there is no tour guide to point out and explain to visitors the various elements visible on either side of the bank. Instead, you’ll listen to a soundtrack that explores the evolution of the Saint-Maurice River through five themes (the paper industry, log driving, the presence of First Nations, recreational activities and changes in its ecosystem). The excerpts from testimonials reveal the intimate relationship between different people and the Saint-Maurice River.
