Histoire sur l’eau – Immersive Cruise

SET SAIL SMOOTHLY

Aboard electrically powered boats, sail peacefully where once thousands of logs were piled up. The only one of its kind, Histoire sur l’eau is an immersive cruise where a soundtrack brings the river to life, relating the changes it has undergone and the significant events it has witnessed.

An Immersive Cruise

Histoire sur l’eau is an encounter with the Saint-Maurice River telling its own story and talking about the changes it has undergone over time. Unlike “classic” cruises, there is no tour guide to point out and explain to visitors the various elements visible on either side of the bank. Instead, you’ll listen to a soundtrack that explores the evolution of the Saint-Maurice River through five themes (the paper industry, log driving, the presence of First Nations, recreational activities and changes in its ecosystem). The excerpts from testimonials reveal the intimate relationship between different people and the Saint-Maurice River.
