Frette ou tablette – 400 ans de bière au Québec
Drinking beer, for many Quebeckers, is an integral part of their eating and social habits. However, this action results from a complex and significant historical heritage. How did beer – which occupied a marginal place in people’s lives at the beginning of European history in America – evolve to become, at the beginning of the 20th century, one of the distinctive features of French Canadian culture? A travelling exhibition developed by the Société de développement culturel de Terrebonne.
